Students will:
＊Increase their science related English vocabulary;
＊Improve their English spoken fluency, specifically to discuss science based topics;
＊Increase their ability to use English to comprehend scientific articles and presentations; and
＊Increase their ability to use English to make simple, science related presentations.

Science English is designed to give students the opportunity to improve their ability to communicate in English. The course is designed to emphasize the skills and vocabulary necessary to communicate on science-based topics at an international level.

授業の概要

The instructor will use a variety of materials and activities to maximize the student's learning opportunities. Students will be required to communicate in English during class time, both structured and on the spot. Active participation is required to improve their skills and vocabulary.

小テスト20％, プレゼンテーション 30％, 講義内活動 30％, Short reflection 20％
総合60％以上を合格とする。無断欠席5回以上の場合、評価対象としない。
